Interview with Mitch Kirk
We have just two spotlight interviews left! Up next is Mitch Kirk, who hosts "Vapin In The Bay" on Vapers.TV on Sunday and Monday. Mitch talks about what's new in the industry, vape advocacy and more, so be sure to stop by! Let's learn more about him and how he stays up to date in this incredibly fast moving industry.
Banzai: Tell us a bit about yourself.
Mitch: My name is Mitch Kirk. I am 36 years old. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have an amazing wife and a daughter. I have been a bus driver for 10 years. I transport physical, intellectual and behavioral challenged adults to and from a day program that helps shape the direction of their own lives in community-based settings.
Banzai: How long did you smoke cigarettes?
Mitch: I was a smoker for 18 years.
Banzai: What was your first setup and how long have you been vaping?
Mitch: A little over two years ago my wife and I walked into a cigarette store and bought a ego style pen with a Kanger Clearomizer. It was horrible. The tank leaked, flooded and just wasn't satisfying enough for me. So I decided to go in a different direction and went to a real vape shop and bought a variable voltage battery and stepped up to the Kanger T3S clearomizer. Never looked back after that it's been two years and counting.
Banzai: How do you stay up to date on what's going on in the vape industry?
Mitch: Social media like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and other groups online are great platforms that I use to stay informed on a lot of the up and coming mods, RDA's, Tanks etc. Also I use social media as a way to stay informed about advocacy. Different organizations like Not Blowing Smoke, SFATA, AVA, CASAA are all readily available to us online.
Banzai: What is your favorite Banzai e-liquid?
Mitch: Fairies and Cream and Milk Plus from the High VG line.
Banzai: Where can we see more of you?
Mitch: I have been a host on Vapers.TV for ten months . My show "Vapin In The Bay" airs on Sundays at 2pm est and Monday Nights at 8pm est on the 5-0hm Vaperz Network. So, you can catch me and my live show over on Vapers.TV on the 5-0hm Vaperz Network! Hope to see you there!!!
Thanks to Mitch for taking some time to answer our questions! It's awesome to see someone kick a near two decade habit of smoking and even start his own show to talk about what's going on in the vape world. Let me know if you or someone you know has done something similar!
